Responsibilities

Responsible for facilitating the successful delivery of high quality, fit-for-purpose science outputs from internally funded science programmes, and helping to ensure that the future development of programmes and the resources required are handled within the internal investment process. Also works closely with Chief Scientist to manage the Future Science portfolio, encompassing new science initiatives, capability retention and development, and co-ordinate the allocation of science-related capital expenditure.
