BSc (Hons), Biochemistry, Victoria University Wellington, New Zealand
PhD, Biochemistry, Victoria University Wellington, New Zealand

Research Interests & Activities

Specialist area is industrial biochemistry aimed at product and process development at large scale. In particular: new product development from animal-product waste streams, enzyme extraction and purification, application of enzymes in processing, and industrial process development for biological products (particularly chromatography, membrane separation, and immobilised enzymes). Management and continued development of the Plant & Food Research Bioprocessing Pilot Plant.
