Responsibilities

Leading and managing a group of about 120 staff in the Sustainable Production Portfolio to deliver high quality science to underpin the sustainable development of plant-based food industries in New Zealand. Key elements of the role include building strong relationships with industry and government stakeholders to understand their research needs, growing capability within the Portfolio to meet these needs, and fostering effective partnerships with colleagues across all Plant & Food Research portfolios and with other research providers in New Zealand and overseas.
