Food & Wellness Group

The Food & Wellness Group evaluates the health and wellness efficacy and benefits of plant-based foods and plant-derived compounds, to support existing products and prototype functional foods and ingredients with proven clinical efficacy. This covers research into the impact of food on physical performance and fitness, mobility, energy, cognitive ability, inflammation (airway, skin) and immune function.

Our researchers are based at three sites – Auckland, Ruakura and Palmerston North
