The Food & Wellness Group evaluates the health and wellness efficacy and benefits of plant-based foods and plant-derived compounds, to produce prototype functional foods and ingredients with proven clinical efficacy. This covers research into the impact of food on immune function, energy, physical performance and fitness, and cognitive ability.

Our researchers are based at three sites – Auckland, Ruakura and Palmerston North
