Bioresources Engineering & Chemistry Group
The Bioresources Engineering & Chemistry Group develops innovative ingredients, processes and products from research into food and bioresources chemistry, bio-extracts and food and biomaterials engineering. The Group uses plants and marine fauna as the raw materials from which biological materials and active compounds can be obtained and used in a range of exciting food and non-food applications of interest to our industry partners.
Our researchers are based at three sites - Auckland, Nelson and Lincoln.
